The Healthy Minds Network’s annual web-based survey study examining mental health,
service utilization, and related issues among undergraduate and graduate students. Since
its national launch in 2007, HMS has been fielded at over 675 colleges and universities,
with over 935,000 survey respondents.

We have administered in ’17-’18, ’19-’20, ’22-’23 with plans to readminister in '26. We have
used and will continue to use HMS data inform programs, policy and practice, Specifically,
Student Engagement and Well-Being has used HMS data to 1) Advocate for mental health
services and programs on campus; 2) Evaluate existing programs and services; 3) Assess the need for new and/or modification of
student programs and services; and 4) Raise awareness of mental health and campus
resources.
